I miss you. How’s things?
I view your pictures often.
Thanks for posting them.

The pictures show me
What I could not have become,
And sadden me some.

Have you ever seen
The path you could have taken
Yet know you could not?

My present is mine.
And here is where I should be.
But “what if” still lurks.

Your students love you.
You are clearly their mentor,
As you were to me.

So sometimes I look
To see what pictures you post.
And smile wistfully.

I hope you are well,
And that your path has been good,
And you are content.
